Hila Dotan is an Architect & Founder of Studio DOT.

An architect and designer with a multidisciplinary background in architecture, interiors, product, and urban planning. Before founding Studio DOT, I worked at leading firms including HQ Architects and Kimmel Eshkolot, where I led projects across residential, cultural, and commercial sectors.

Educated at Tel Aviv University (B.Arch, with distinction) and Politecnico di Milano (Cum Laude), I bring a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every scale of design — from city plans to crafted spaces and objects.

My work is grounded in clarity, materiality, and the belief that good design enhances everyday life.

What inspires your work?
Natural materials, honest textures, and the quiet rhythm of everyday life. I find beauty in simplicity and clarity — spaces that breathe and evolve over time.

What’s your design approach?
I start by listening — to the site, the client, the context. From there, I craft a concept rooted in function and feeling, guiding every detail to serve the overall experience.

What types of projects do you take on?
I work across scales — from private homes and renovations to boutique commercial spaces — always with a focus on quality, atmosphere, and personal connection.

What makes Dot Architecture different?
Attention. Every line, proportion, and material is considered. I care deeply about how spaces feel — not just how they look — and how they support the lives within them.

How involved are you in the process?
Fully. I believe great design comes from close collaboration. I’m hands-on throughout — from concept to construction — ensuring the vision is carried through with integrity.
